JAMES M. SINGLETON CHARTER SCHOOL
is the first Type 5 Charter School in New Orleans which was established in 1999. The charter school plays a fundamental role in positively shaping the lives of our students during their most formative years of academic development.
James Singleton’s faculty is committed to offering high quality instruction for the purpose of sustaining academic progress and securing students’ academic potential.
Our faculty utilizes Tier 1 curriculum in each class. Our educational practices ensure rigor and relevance; our educational strategies ensure our students can apply the knowledge learned in each class and exercise problem solving skills in real-life situations.
